American Heart Association BLS Provider CPR AED

The AHA’s BLS Provider course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

While designed for Healthcare Providers, ANYONE can take a BLS Provider class.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be issued an American Heart Association course completion e-card which provides a 2-year certification.

Heartcode BLS (Online Class & Skills Check) AHA Blended Learning

HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the BLS Course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace. Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode BLS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS Instructor or on a simulation station.

Access to the BLS Provider Manual eBook (20-3102) is included with HeartCode BLS. You will be able to access the Provider Manual from within the course.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.

Heartcode BLS (Skills Check Only) AHA Blended Learning

This is the skills portion of the AHA on-line course. To take and complete the skills session, the student must first pass the on-line course and provide a competion certificate to the instructor at the time of the skills session. If you do not have an on-line URL, please select the Heartcode BLS (On-line & Skills Check). After you register and pay for the class, your on-line URL will be e-mailed to you along with the directions for it's use.

Heartcode ACLS (Online class with Skills Check) AHA Blended Learning

HeartCode ACLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the AHA’s ACLS Course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace. Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode ACLS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA ACLS Instructor.

American Heart Association Heartsaver® First Aid & CPR AED

Heartsaver^® First Aid CPR AED Training

The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

Who should take this course?

The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.

The Heartsaver First Aid course trains participants first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2015 AHA/Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid.

The AHA Heartsaver First Aid Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.

American Heart Association ACLS Provider Course- Renewal

This advanced course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS). Prerequisites: Current, not expired Card & Understanding of ACLS EKG & Pharmacology. Geared towards ALS providers; RN, MD, DO, PA, NP, MICP, & Respiratory Therapist.

Course Completion Requirements To receive a course completion card, the student must • attend and participate in the entire course, • demonstrate proficiency in CPR skills, pass required skills tests, and • pass required written tests.

Your course completion card will come as an eCard (electronic card). This has the same validity as a paper card.

American Heart Association-BLS Provider Instructor Course

The American Heart Association BLS Provider Instructor Course is a two day course. Day one will be completed at home using the AHA BLS Essentials on-line course provided to you upon payment of the course. This program covers information on teaching and will take a few hours to complete. Once completed you will print out a completion certificate. This certificate must be brought to classroom with you on the date of the class. Participants must possess a VALID/UNEXPIRED American Heart Association BLS Provider Card and provide a copy of certification upon payment for the course. Non AHA cards are not acceptable and cannot be accepted for this or any other AHA program.

Day two will be held at Team Life, Colts Neck NJ. We will cover information such as course organization, policies of both the AHA and Team Life, administration of a course, advertising, equipment cleaning, changes in CPR and why they occur, skills testing, a written test and more.

At the completion of the AHA Instructor course, students will need to be successfully monitored teaching a BLS Provider course at Team Life, the course will be monitored by one of our Training Center Faculty.

Team Life reserves the right to refuse any/all Instructor candidates that do not meet the minimum qualifications. Reimbursement will NOT be provided for those students that fail testing or otherwise do not complete the training.
